Love, Joy, Peace...

As Brother Lee shared concerning door-knocking:

"The organic function of the saints will not be influenced by a change in the national situation. Even if the national situation changes, the brothers and sisters can spread to the whole inhabited earth...and fulfill their organic function by preaching the gospel everywhere." (Crucial Words of Leading in the Lord's Recovery, Book 2: Leading the Saints to Practice the New Way Ordained by the Lord, chapter 13]

Due to such apps as Zoom, Skype and WhatsApp, we all have a unique opportunity to use electronic means to "door-knock” and reach many of our friends, relatives and neighbors. We would therefore like to share some principles of how we all can preach the gospel using materials and tools that are now available to us:

First, please go to the following webpages and get familiar with the gospel content presented - you can post links to articles you like on your own social media feed:

English: https://gospel.biblesforamerica.org/ and www.rhemabooks.org/en/articles

Spanish: http://www.rhemabooks.org/es/articles and www.biblesforamerica.org/es/free-bible

Chinese: https://www.rhemabooks.org/sc/home/ and www.Luke54.org

All other languages: https://www.rhemabooks.org/en/home/ then select another language.

Second, look at your address book and choose five unbelieving friends, neighbors, colleagues, classmates of the same gender or your relatives. Then with some companions, begin to pray for them in a definite way.

Third, when you feel led by the Lord to contact one on your list, you can do the following:

1. Write to greet them and see how they are doing.

2. Send them a link and say to them, using your own words, that this is an interesting website that addresses some questions people may have in this time of trial.

3. Pray every day with your companions in between contacts.

4. After several days, ask them what they think of the content of the website. If they say they have not yet seen the site, tell them that you will check back later. If they don’t seem interested, select another unbelieving friend to replace them on your list of five. If they say they disagree with the article, try to address their objections. If the person becomes disinterested, replace their name on your list.

5. However, if your friend is happy with what they have read, ask them what they liked about it, and then lead them to pray according to what they liked. Ask them if they would like to pray to receive the Lord.

Finally, seek to shepherd them by reading the Bible together, perhaps the Gospel of John. When they seem ready, you can invite them to the virtual home meetings of your church.

For your friends who are believers, let them know they can get free Bibles and books from Bibles for America, Bibles for Europe and/or Rhemabooks.org. You can also direct them to https://www.emanna.com/ where they can subscribe to receive short, daily Bible studies in multiple languages via email. An additional resource that is very helpful for those who speak English or Spanish is the audio files of the Life-study of the Bible: https://www.lsmradio.com/.

May the Lord strengthen us all to be branches in the vine bearing fruit and spurring on the white horse of the gospel of Christ going forth to conquer the hearts of many throughout the whole earth!
